This well traveled family wished to remodel their large home to function significantly better for themselves and the many guests that visit regularly.
We space-planned nearly the entire main floor. The original layout included a wide central hallway off the entry that was dark and uninspiring. Now that's no way to enter one's home every day! Utilizing all that dead space for the new areas we created brighter, larger rooms that spawned a more pleasing relationship between the public sections of the home. The new kitchen properly displays many items picked up on their travels together.
