ABOUT THe project

This project involved a holistic design of the entire main floor, which included concocting doorways for improved human movement & interaction, as well as disseminating sunlight between zones.  These homeowners love to entertain so the kitchen/dining/living areas were developed for superlative connection while still allotting these segments delineation & coziness.  The custom round table rests within the island to seat 4 perpetually, pulling away as needed to seat 6.

Of Note — Both this family and their guests enter the home via the formal front door and needed a drop center that didn't detract from that formality.  We carved out space throughout the main entry hall for a rather successful drop zone/mudroom, while maintaining the requested aura of stateliness.
