Beautiful growing family with a mid-century home and the usual un-inspired layout…but also with the usual great light!  After going through the design and layout phase together, we discussed hues, textures and the interplay of light.  Mentioned that a grass green or New York Cab Yellow would shine wonderfully in their space and would meld well with existing wood details….and Voilà!  Yellow hand-made tile from Heath Ceramics that engender thoughts of hailing a cab on a sun-drenched Manhattan day.  This interplay with stainless steel counter tops and gloss-grey case goods assured a fun, delectable outcome! 

Of Note — A flip-up breakfast table/work surface in a spot linking living room, dining room and kitchen allows for varied activity & projects, buffet, visiting and much more as needed.
